The loose change offering for December loose offering will go to Second Harvest Northland, whose mission is to End Hunger Together in NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. They work in partnership with our neighbors who have experienced hunger, our agency and community partners, volunteers, donors, employees and board of directors.

They are the Northland’s largest, non-profit charitable organization ensuring dignified and equitable food access to our network of agency and community partners (food shelves, on-site meal programs, tribal organizations) and families, children and seniors in need. The holidays can be a tough time for many in our community—but together, we can make a difference. This season, we’re collecting donations to purchase gift cards for local families in need. Your contribution will help bring warmth, comfort, and a little extra joy to someone’s holiday. Every gift, big or small, helps share love and hope right here at home.

We are anticipating an influx of people requesting gift cards in the coming months. Because of that, we are collecting cash/checks to purchase extra cards to get through until the New Year. If you are able, please consider donating! There will be a collection envelope in the office.
