What will you find on a visit to Community Pres? You will be welcomed by the warm smile of a greeter. They can answer any questions you may have and point you in the direction of the sanctuary or fellowship hall. You will find people of all ages dressed comfortably enjoying fellowship with each other. We love kids and welcome their voices and energy in worship.
Join Us for Worship! Here are Community Pres, we seek to follow Jesus in the way of radical hospitality, generosity, and inclusivisty. You belong here! We invite you to experience God's love and forgiveness, engage in the mystery of faith, and grow in relationship with each other.
Our Sunday worship service is more traditional, with hymns, prayers, choirs, and a sermon. We celebrate the Lord's Supper, also known as communion or the Eucharist, on the first and third Sundays. All are welcome to the table. Most weeks, the service is followed by coffee and cookies in the fellowship hall.
We are open to the perspectives and life experiences of others. We strive to be quick to listen, and slow to speak. We are a community that values questions and doubts in the life of faith. We are committed to engaging and discussing the difficult questions with humility and honesty, often while recognizing that many of our questions do not have answers.
